Sarah Bokhari, MA, M.Phil., M.Sc.

Meet The Candidate

Sarah Bokhari is a political scientist, academic, journalist, and women rights activist. She received her Masters in Political Science from UofT along with her M.Sc. in International Relations, and an M.Phil. in Strategic Studies. Prior to coming to Canada, Sarah attended the International School of Disarmament and Research on Conflict and was a Track II Diplomat. While with the Diplomatic corps, she engaged in confidence building measures between India and Pakistan. She participated in the Harvard Project for Asia and International Relations and was a fellow at the Institute of Disarmament and Research on Conflicts ISODARCO, Italy.

More recently, Sarah has taught at various Canadian Colleges and Universities in the Greater Toronto Area and hosted a cable news show ‘Power Dilemma’ on TAG TV. On Power Dilemma, she has featured issues regarding Canadian politics, terrorism, crime, immigration, extremism, Veteran rights, and various social issues. She has periodically appeared as a speaker at educational forums and conferences as well as CTV and OMNI TV. She has been published extensively on global issues. 

Sarah’s volunteer activities include a stint with Correctional Services of Canada, the YMCA, along with various federal and provincial election campaigns with PC’s and Conservatives. 

She is founder of ‘Strong Moms and Empowered Women’ which showcases women influencers in Canadian society.

Sarah and her daughter presently live in London.
